Background

Laura joined Gopher Athletics in 1996 as the inaugural head coach of Gopher Women's Hockey. She successfully led the program to three National Championships in her ten seasons behind the bench. Following her coaching career, she joined the GGF where she leads special projects related to endowed scholarships and assists with many Annual Fund initiatives. Laura earned her undergraduate degree from Princeton University where she played hockey for 4 years and won three Ivy League titles. She is a native of Plymouth, Minnesota, and graduated from Wayzata High School.
