Dana NelsonAssistant Director of Special Events


Dana serves as the Assistant Director of Special Events for the Golden Gopher Fund. Her responsibilities include coordinating and executing events for the athletics department as well as rental events. She joined Gopher Athletics in 2009 and helped build the special event rental department when Huntington Bank Stadium first opened. Dana received her undergraduate degree in Physical Education & Health from Hamline University where she competed in volleyball & track and field. She later earned her Master’s in Athletic & Activities Administration from the University of St. Thomas.
